Photo exhibition of Alexey Izhoykin in the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Jakarta

On the 4 of April, 2011 the opening ceremony of Photo exhibition of Alexey Izhoykin, who has been studying on the state education program "Dharmasiswa" on Bali since last year, was held in the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Jakarta. The exhibited photos display nature, traditional ceremony and routine life of the population of Trunyan village near lake Batur, where native Balinese called Bali Aga are living.

White-black photos made by non-digital camera and choice of optical objectives turn out the works of Alexey Izhoykin to be analogues of photos made by European and Indonesian photographer on Bali in 30-40 ss.

The students of universities and colleges of Jakarta, representatives of Indonesian community, members of Society of friendship "Russia-Indonesia", Association of graduates of Russian Universities "Insan Nauka", photo association "Kelas pagi" and other associations, students of the Russian language courses were among the audience.

The exhibition will be held till April 8, 2011.
