Russian Culture Morning dedicated to the 15-th Anniversary of Russia-ASEAN Dialogue Partnership

On the 1 of April, 2011 the morning concert dedicated to the 15-th Anniversary of Russia-ASEAN Dialogue Partnership was held by the Embassy of Russia in Indonesia in the Usmar Ismail Hall. The spouse of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia H.E. Madame Srani Natalegawa, the spouse of the Minister of Defense of Indonesia H.E. Madame Sri Murniati Dualismi and the spouse of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia H.E. Madame Moeliek Triyono Subowo were among the audience at the concert.

Delivering the opening remarks in the Russian Culture Morning the Ambassador of Russia to Indonesia and to ASEAN H.E. Mr. A.Ivanov stressed the positive results, achieved for the fifteen years of Russia-ASEAN dialogue partnership, as well as wide prospects of further expansion of the cooperation in the sphere of policy, security, economy, energy and culture.

Russian folk songs and dances, poetry by A.Pushkin, M.Tsvetaeva and A.Borto, as well as musical masterpieces of P.Chaikovsky were presented to the audience.

The staff of the Embassy, the pupils of the School at the Embassy of Russia and invited guests - Russian classical trio "Silver Breeze" – were those who performed during the concert.

At the end of the event the honored guests handed over flowers to the organizers and participants of the concert.

The concert was held in warm and friendly atmosphere.
