ABOUT THE VISIT TO INDONESIA OF THE DELEGATION OF REPRESENTATIVES
OF THE RUSSIAN MARITIME AND AVIATION INDUSTRIES

On October 21-23, 2015 a delegation of representatives of the Russian maritime and aviation industries stayed in Jakarta for holding meetings with relevant ministries and business structures of Indonesia.

The delegation consisted of the executives of «Irkut» aircraft manufacturing corporation, the United Shipbuilding Corporation, Russian Federal Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography, Russian-Indonesian Business Council.

With the participation of the Russian Ambassador in Indonesia Mr. M.Galuzin and the Trade representative of Russia in Indonesia Mr. S.Rossomakhov the delegation had meetings with the Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Natural Resources of Indonesia Mr. R.Ramli, the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of Indonesia Ms. S.Pudjiastuti, the Minister of Industry of Indonesia Mr. S.Husin, the Deputy Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of Indonesia Mr. R.Lukman, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Transportation of Indonesia Mr. Sugihardjo, the Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. S.Sulisto.

The sides discussed possible concrete projects of mutually beneficial cooperation in such fields as aviation, fishery, modernization of ports, shipbuilding, use of telecommunication technologies of control of fishing and sea territories, etc.

It was decided to continue detailed consideration of the corresponding projects through the channels of relevant companies and state departments of the two countries.
